Changes to legislation

Over the last several years the lettings industry has been subject to a number of changes to legislation mainly regarding the rental of property, the processes and how the tenant is managed.  These changes include the introduction of the housing health and safety rating system.

As a landlord or agent it is hard to keep ahead of all the changes and theirs more to come.

The best way of ensuring that your appliances are safe is to have a PAT test. This is a good way for landlords to meet their obligations to maintain a good standard of electrical appliance safety within their rented property.
